About this event:

Membership in the body of Christ, in the New Testament, is very clearly identified with being in Christ and with being part of the larger body of Christ, not simply the local church. When one becomes a Christian, one becomes a part of – a member of – the body of Christ – the Church.
Partnership is the joining together, of those who are members of Christ, for the sake of proclaiming the Kingdom of God, as part of a particular community. And so, biblically and theologically, partnership is a better term to use to describe our relationship with one another in the local church.
“In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:4-6
