Come Lord Jesus, be our peace.
In a world struggling to be born anew in the midst of brokenness, tragedy and fear
We wait for You, our Prince of peace–
Your peace calms wind and storm, chaos, and war;
Your peace unites, aligns and restores all things;
Your peace guards our hearts, transcends mortal understanding. (Phil. 4:7).
Come Lord Jesus, that we might share Your peace.
Grant us the courage to be peacekeepers and kingdom seekers,
For You call and equip us to be people of peace,
Your Shalom reign is here and on its way!
Enwrap our hearts, our lives, our neighbourhoods, and cities with
Your peace on earth as it is in heaven.
Come Lord Jesus, establish Your peace.
“Shine upon those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the way of peace.” (Luke 1:79)
Assure us again that You have given us Your peace (John 14:27)
and Your peace will never leave us!
