Prayer – September 2

Jesus understands weakness and temptation but never sinned. He invites us to come into his presence with confidence so that we can find mercy and grace.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Hebrews 4:14-16

Prayer – September 1

When God’s people return to him, God will pour out his grace and compassion. Pray that God’s people and those we connect with will return to him.

If you return to the Lord, then your fellow Israelites and your children will be shown compassion by their captors and will return to this land, for the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.
