What Should you Expect at OCC on Sunday?

Come as you are. Expect to find people like you who want to be real with God! We’re passionate about God and making Him real in our everyday life. We’re intentional about being “irreligious” but not irreverent. We invite people to dress however they feel comfortable. We don’t want anyone to feel like they have to put on a “mask” when they come to church. We believe church should be fun, and at the same time, a place where the relevance, power and holiness of Jesus are taken seriously. The result is a diverse and exciting place.

On Sundays we sing to contemporary music, use a variety of media, enter into God’s Story creatively, and reflect on practical messages aimed at real life issues. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual with free tea and fair trade coffee. Our gatherings last about an hour and twenty minutes.

Our morning service starts at 10:00am and ends around 11:20am. Typically we start off with worship led by our worship band.

On Sunday evenings, we sometimes have a time of prayer/communion from 6:30 to 7:30pm.

Once a month (normally the last Sunday of the month) we show a family friendly film at 6:00pm.

Other Sundays we will offer a seminar, have a special event, or leave it free to connect with family and friends.
