In Matthew 5:14, Jesus taught that His followers will be “the light of the world” and that “a city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Pray that the life and light of Jesus will shine through the lives of Christians in our city and that many will see Him and be saved.

As it is, I rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because you were grieved into repenting. For you felt a godly grief, so that you suffered no loss through us. For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.(2 Corinthians 7:9-10).

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. (Psalm 119:9-11).

We encourage you to take a few moments as you prepare to watch the video
settle in, be still,
take 2 or 3 deep breaths… in and out breathe,
invite the Lord to make himself present with you as you watch – he is with you – it’s just that often we are not aware that he is,
prepare your heart to listen and receive.
Read Philippians 4 as you enter into our time together.
