Forgiveness comes at the cost of Jesus' shed blood. Today, give thanks to God for this indescribable gift. In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15

There is an interplay between knowing God’s forgiveness and forgiving others. Pray that we would be a people who forgive because we have been forgiven and who can experience forgiveness. When Christ forgives us and cleanses us of sin, God no longer remembers our rebellious ways. Pray that followers of Jesus will recognize who they are in Christ and walk forward in obedience and newness of life. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good. Psalm 25:7 We were therefore buried with him through baptism

James reminds us that “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." Pray that followers of Jesus will actively praise God for His goodness, and unbelievers will recognize that all good things come from God. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like
