Holy Week

A lot of more liturgical churches (pretty well all churches
are liturgical, some are just more formal about it)
talk about Holy Week.

We don’t use that language because this week is not more Hoy than other weeks – but we do focus more on this last week of Jesus’ life leading to the Cross & the Resurrection.

  • Palm Sunday (25 March – 10am)
We celebrate Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem and the subversiveness of the kingdom of God.
  • Maundy Thursday (29 March – 6pm)
We gather for a pot-luck meal together (sign up at the welcome desk at OCC – or let us know you are coming) and share together in the Lord’s Supper as part of our meal.
  • Good Friday (30 March – 10:30am)
We join together with several other churches in town at Calvary Pentecostal (375 Westmount Dr. N.) to reflect together as the larger body of Christ in Orillia.
  • Easter Sunday (1 April – 9am | 10am)
    9am Continental Breakfast
    10am Easter Celebration
