Praying for our City – March 31

This month we are praying for our city.

When he approached Jerusalem, Jesus saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes” (Luke 19:41-42 NASB).

Pray that our city would experience renewal and spiritual awakening. Pray that the kind of heart that moved Jesus to weep over Jerusalem will be found in us as we make a renewed commitment to pray for our cities.

And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare. (Jeremiah 29:7).
