Praying for our City – March 30

This month we are praying for our city.

When he approached Jerusalem, Jesus saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes” (Luke 19:41-42 NASB).

Pray that followers of Jesus in our city will unite in praying for those who are in authority over them and consequently will be blessed of God by being able to experience quiet and peaceful lives

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
