Praying for our City – March 3

This month we are praying for our city.

When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices, and when the wicked perish, there is joyful shouting. By the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is torn down (Proverbs 11:10-11).

All across this country and around the world, Christians are being awakened to the growing sinfulness found within our culture. Pray that we will not lose hope, but will unite in prayer, trusting God to push back the darkness and bring renewal and revival.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6).
